Stained Glass Make & Take Class
Unleash your creativity in this hands-on class, guided by instructor and artist, Christine Galea. This class will be held at WEst of the moon Stained Glass Studio
One 3-hour class
All materials will be provided
In this hands-on class, you will make a finished scrappy bird using the Tiffany copper foil method. Suitable for beginners - no experience needed.
All materials will be provided, no need to buy anything else to attend.
Ages: 16+
Location: West of the Moon Stained Glass Studio (1057 W Busch Blvd Tampa 33612)
Cost: $75 per person – prepaid cash, Zelle, Venmo (non-refundable)
Limit 6 students per class

AM class: Monday September 14 - 9:00 to noon
PM Class: Monday September 14 - 1:00 to 4:00
AM Class: Sunday October 11 - 9:00 to Noon
PM CLass: Sunday October 11 - 1:00 to 4:00
What to expect:
You will start by choosing your glass. There will be no cutting in this class, you will choose glass that is already in the shape that resembeles birds. Then you will learn to grind the glass, apply copper foil and burnish it.
Next, you will learn how to solder and edge bead your scrappy bird, add wire legs and wire embellishments, clean and wax your finished scrappy bird.
CLASS may run over a bit for everyone to complete their project, so you won’t be pushed out the door with an unfinished project.
You must register and pay for the class in advance.
