The Birthstone Orchid

This piece is a special collaborative creation with a neighbor, designed as a deeply personal tribute. The stained‑glass orchid symbolizes the family of the gift recipient: the left stem represents the three children, and the right stem represents the four grandchildren. Each blossom is crafted in the birthstone color of the child it represents, making every flower uniquely meaningful. The leaves are formed from slumped glass to add natural texture and a lifelike, sculptural quality.
