sun catcher workshop
experience is necessary
This workshop focuses on assembling, soldering,
and finishing a sun catcher using the wire and edge bead method
where: west of the moon stained glass studio, llc located at 1057 w busch blvd.

class size is limited to 6 students and is non-refundABLE.
There will be no cutting, grinding, or foiling in this workshop.
in this workshop, you will learn how to:
assemble a sun catcher
add supportive wire and jump ring(s)
edge bead
add wire embellishments (if applicable)
clean, patina, and finish your sun catcher
Please bring your own sun catcher project (maximum of 8 pieces of glass) already foiled and ready to assemble.
what to bring to this workshop:
Your glass already cut, ground, and foiled.
solder, flux, flux remover, patina for lead (not zinc) - you should already have these things, but if not, they can be purcHASED the day of the workshop.
heat resistant gloves such as leather or garden gloves
soldering irons are available for use, but if you have your own, bring it.
Workshop fees:
instruction only: $110.00 - includes instruction, supportive 22g wire, and jump ring(s).
you must come to this workship with your own glass already foiled and ready to assemble or purchase a kit. please make sure your sun catcher has less than 8 pieces of glass.
